The hotel was well situated in a small street, within 5 minutes of the ferry terminal to Tanger. There was also cafes and restaurants nearby. It was a little noisy at closing time but not too bad. The rooms opened out on to small balconies ; it was very beautiful with tiled floors and great bathroom.

Nice, well appointed rooms in a seaside olde town setting. Finding the hotel through the narrow streets is a bit of a challenge, but worth the wander through the ancient avenues lined with shops and cafes. The staff is wonderful and greets with a smile for check in or morning breakfast in teh hotels plaza cafe. Perfect location for access to the kite surfing, scuba diving or ferries to Tangiers. A bit farther along the bay road is the beach and the new town shops. A one day stay turned to three and would look forward to visiting again.
If you require air conditioning instead of the cool sea breezes or cannot navigate stairs you will have difficulty.

Quiet hotel, great position very close to ferry terminal, great shower.
Even though it was a Sunday night, the street outside got noisy in the middle of the night with drunken revellers. Tarifa is this kind of place though and not the fault of the hotel, which itself is very quiet.

The central location.
Very small room and bathroom. No hair-dryer. Very poor room decoration and lighting. It can be noisy due to the location (near the bar area).

The bathroom was awesome, the central heating was great, and we loved having an electronic key card and multi-channel television in our room; the bed was comfy, and it even had a bathtub, all in a nice location in the center of the old town.

Central hostal located bang in the middle of winding cobblestone streets of tarifa. Funky moorish interior and great shower. No ac but did not find that a problem. Perfect for a short stay. Right around the corner from restaurant vaca loca which is an awesome steak house Spanish Style.
Wifi only in reception.

I had a wonderful stay at Vagamundos in Tarifa. The hotel is perfectly located in the heart of the old town, surrounded by charming streets and lively nightlife. The Moroccan-inspired decor in the rooms added a unique touch, and the large 'rain' shower head in the bathroom made for a truly luxurious experience. Despite being in a bustling area, the rooms stayed relatively cool and the powerful fans provided a comfortable sleep. The continental breakfast was just what I needed to start my day, with a selection of cereals, toast, croissants, muffins, juices. The staff were friendly and attentive, making my stay even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel for its great location, comfortable rooms, and excellent service.
